im typically not a huge sap or emotional but this dog sure can turn me into a sopping wet cat of a man by just existing.

you are embeded into my life til i die, and i am indebted to you for keeping me alive. waking up to your little whines in the early morning, feeling your weight at my feet when you lay at the foot of my bed, your soft snores, your warm puppy smell when you're sleepy, the smell of the summer air on your fur and skin, how you love to roll and walk through the snow, I love every little detail of how you explore and take in the world and how you are as a whole.

no words can describe how much i love you and how much you mean to me. you are irreplaceable and the only thing that had kept me alive and going through this past decade and gave me reason to keep fighting to live while life kept throwing its bullshit at me. we collectively love you so dearly and i desperately hope that you feel just as loved.

FUN FACTS + STORIES:

> she's escaped the house a few times when she was younger, and a few of the times while I was tracking her i found her back home waiting to be let back inside.

> had her chained up outside and when i went out to bring her back inside / check on her, i found her with her muzzle covered in blood and a beheaded rabbit in the grass behind her.

> the few tricks she knows are; handshake, high five, sit, laydown, speak, jump, and "ring the bell". ring the bell is just taking one of those desk bells and her just slapping the button.

> she can easily drag around a 45lb (~20kg) weight.
